FEBRUARY, FUN, FAMILY & FRIENDS-2020

February has always been a fun month for me because it always meant, growing up, that my Mom would have red & pink decorations everywhere, hearts on everything & special candy surprises on the 14th!  I have always loved trying to duplicate this special, little tradition for my family.  This includes special shirts, hair-dos, treats for the class students & teachers and a special dinner.

We took advantage of the February/Winter break and went camping with the Strottner's.  The Stranderson's went to Big Bend for 4 fun & nature filled days and nights.  We took 4 hikes over those days and saw some breathtaking examples of God's best work. Some of those spectacular sightings were Balancing Rock, The Window, the Rio Grande River & the Terlingua Cemetery.  We even saw a BLACK BEAR!

February in Spring Branch always means it's time for The Annual Daddy-Daughter Dance.  Delilah donned a gorgeous blue dress and curls in her hair.  Daddy took her to a special dinner and then shook their tail feathers on the old gym floor.  Delilah looks forward to this special night!
We had a VERY special visitor stay with us for a few days... Brisa Bella was our guest for 3 nights while Clarence & Milagros went to Las Vegas. It was a complete joy having her and the Twins loved every second of hanging out with their cousin.
Jett & Delilah had a special outing with their Grandy & Aunt Carolyn to the Blue Hole, in Wimberley, Texas.
Rich & I got to go on a play-date, too, with Chasl, Joey, Maria, Patrick, Emily & Kyle.  We had a great eveing of beer & bull rides at the San Antonio Rodeo. We started with dinner at The Boiler House and then went on to the rodeo to see Cody Johnson perform.
I was also lucky enough to sneak away for an afternoon of Italian food and bellini's with one of my oldest & dearest friends, Paula.  I love that no matter how long it's been... we can always catch up where we left off.
A few extra pics from February, the month of tons of love...
