June was a a month of "lessons learned". Let me explain... Jett decided that he wanted to have a Nintendo Switch & that he wanted it BEFORE we left for our annual beach house trip to Crystal Beach. Seeing as how Jett & Delilah already have plenty of video games, consoles & Ipads, we explained that if he wanted the Switch, he would be the one to pay for it. Well, he did just that! Jett earned $300 in less than 3 weeks by pulling weeds; cleaning the house; power washing the driveway; washing our vehicles & so much more. While I'm still not convinced that his money was well spent, it was definitely well earned & therefore we are super proud of him
This next part is just going to basically be a photo dump of aaaallll of our pictures from our trip to Crystal Beach. We had so much fun playing in the waves, building sand castles, searching for shells, laughing, water balloon fights, sleeping late & catching some rays. We even celebrated Patrick's birthday while we were there and ventured into Galveston for a little exploring & hit up our usual spot, Murdoch's. But, the most exciting thing was that we all took surfing lessons! It was so much harder than it looks but the kiddos & Jett caught on just fine. This is always my favorite trip of the year!

After we got home from our beach trip, we had Brisa spend a week with us, while Clarence & Milo went to Clarence's highschool reunion. We had a blast having her and did lots of fun things... Went to the drive-in movies; fed the ducks in Boerne; swam; did art projects; watched movies; met friends at stone works; played in the creek & laughed a ton!
Rich & I celebrated our wedding anniversary very low key... a few gifts, hugs & swimming with our kiddos. Exactly how we like our evenings...
