While our lives have been turned completely upside down with the Covid-19 pandemic, one thing is for sure... pumpkin patches, pumpkins, camping & Halloween are a must for October.
And we did JUST that. I decorated the house for Halloween and we visited a couple of pumpkin patches with family & friends.
In the midst of fun we continued on with work & school, we voted & had a garage sale...October weather is the perfect weather for camping. We decided to visit another new camping spot and went to Lake Texana. It was gorgeous! We had a spot that was right on the lake. We rode bikes, fished, relaxed, played & took advantage of the fact that Jett & Delilah could log-in to school from anywhere. It was SUPER cool that we actually saw an alligator in the lake!!The weekend after we returned home we went to a neighbor's house to carve pumpkins with friends. Delilah wasn't feeling very good so her and Daddy headed home early. Before Halloween we celebrated Milagros's birthday! And let me just say that 50 looks so good on her! We enjoyed spending time with her on this huge milestone.TRICK OR TREAT! For Halloween Me, Jett & Delilah dressed up as "rock, paper, scissors". Rich was on shift that day so it was just us 3 & then Grandy came over to hit the streets with us. We joined some of the other neighborhood kiddos and hopped on board the trailer for a hay ride around the community. The kids had a blast running up to the doors for candy and the adults had fun grabbing a few treats of their own.
And, the stragglers for October:
