2020 BEGINNING OF A NEW DECADE

Well, not to toot my own horn... BUT... TOOT! TOOT!  It's just now January 31st & I'm already sitting down to the computer, pictures resized, and ready to knock out January's blog post.  But, if this first month is any indication of how busy our lives will be... this just might be the last blog post that I get to for several months!

JANUARY
What a perfect way to begin the new year AND the new decade... Rich & I spent the first day of the year snacking away on cheese, wine & crackers while the kiddos played quietly in the game room.  For dinner, to celebrate, we feasted on delicious steak, chicken & sausage, paired with a fabulous bottle of champagne.

Jett & Delilah were sad to know that the Holidays were soon coming to an end.  Before we took the tree down they wanted to spend the night, sleeping under the glow of the Christmas tree, twinkling lights.

The Christmas decorations come down and Valentines Day stuff comes out.  Well, not much... just some fun stuff for the 3-tiered tray.

A new year means getting back to the grind of selling homes!  No one I'd rather do it with than my trusty sidekicks...

I absolutely LOVE that our Mac Arthur High School buds are still so close!  We occasionally meet up for drinks or lunch.  This time it was at an all time favorite spot where we all used to skip out for lunch to, ZITO'S!  It was delicious and always so wonderful to catch up!

I couldn't be ANY prouder of these kiddos of ours.  Once again, they received awards for all A Honor Roll & for being Accelerated Readers! Way to go, Jett & Delilah!

It was brought to our attention at our last family eye exam appointments that Delilah was developing near-sightedness.  So, it was time for her to join Rich & I in the 4-eyed club!  I had so much fun with her, picking out her new frames. She chose the red pair with beautiful roses on the sides.  After our eyeglass shopping Delilah & I went to see the movie Dr. DoLittle.  Great flick!

While Delilah spent our day shopping and catching a movie, Rich & Jett attended the birthday party for friend and classmate, Rio Reynolds.  What fun!!  The boys fished, shot BB guns, learned how to use a bow & arrow and even got to hold a snake!!

This kids had a school holiday on President's Day so we got together with our dear friends, Rachel, Carter & Nora.  We had a yummy lunch at the Branch & then came back to the house for a playdate. Good times for kids & Mommas!

Jett finished of the month of January with a BANG!  He and his buddy Troy Trevino were the winners of Team Dreido Survivor games!  Great job, boys!
