CAMPFIRES & TURKEYS - NOVEMBER 2020

Halloween is over & now it's time to decorate for Thanksgiving.

We needed to get through a couple of weeks of work & school before we could leave for our next camping trip.

We attended two very special birthday parties this month.  One for Brisa Bella, turning 8 years old & then Delilah was invited to celebrate Landry's special day!
Another HUGE event that we were honored to celebrate was Milagros becoming a United States citizen!  She has worked so hard and been here for so long... I'm thrilled to know that her dream has come true!
We were a tad late on getting our annual family photographs done but we love the way they turned out. They were taken at our very own creek and walking trails.  I bet next year the Twins will be taller than me!
We had another huge event in the Anderson household... Jett was told that he needed glasses and doesn't he look so handsome?!
The week before Thanksgiving we packed up & headed for 5 awesome days at the Burleson Jellystone RV Park.  The Strottner's & the Ulrich's went with us and we had some great times & tons of laughs!  We fished, pet the animals at the petting zoo; took walks; listened to the guitars around the campfire; rode bikes; played at the Activity center; & went on a scavenger hunt.  One day we drove into Grapevine.  There we walked around the town which was magicly decorated for Christmas; did a little shopping & even took photos with Santa.  On our way home from the trip we stopped at our favorite, little restaurant in Lampasas. It was a fabulous trip & we cannot wait to go back there again!

We got home from camping just in time to pick up our meal from a local chef, throw a load of laundry in the washing machine & set the table for our Thanksgiving meal with our family.  It was very low key this year (as has most things due to this dreaded virus!) but Grandy joined us & it was a fabulouly relaxed day to feel so very thankful about all of our many blessings.
Our Mickey the Elf made his appearance on the morning after Thanksgiving... and he brought cocoa bombs!  They are this amazing hot chocolate treat that dissolves & bursts open when you pour warm milk over them.  Jett & Delilah were sooo excited! We love our time with Mickey & all of his shenanigan's.
Unfortunately we weren't able to go to Christmas in Comfort this year because the weather was awful.  We were disappointed (Delilah was even a little weepy) BUT it did allow for us to decorate for Christmas a day earlier.
Mickey had several more notable pranks in November.  I love the way the Twins wake up every morning & run around the house in search of him.
A few random pics from November of our boy, Diesel (& 1 of Cinder).
