SPORTS, SURF & SUMMER CAMP

 JUNE 2022

The Seadragons swim meets started quickly in June.  Jett & Delilah did a fantastic job, seeing as how this was their first time ever on a swim team.  And they loved that their friends were there, too.

Delilah's softball team, The Angel's, came in 2nd place in the Region.  Our sweet neighbor's, The Leonard's, came out to support her.
Several of her teammates went on to play in the All Star Game so of course we made it to a game to cheer them on.

This was the very first Summer that Jett & Delilah pakced up and went off to Over-night camp, with CBC, at Camp Tejas.  Since Delilah had another play off game, Jett left on the camp bus without her.  Thank goodness he had his buddy, Kolby, there with him.
After Delilah's final play off game, we woke up bright and early and I drove her to camp.  They both had a fantastic several days but BOY!  I sure was missing them!

While they were out of town, Rich & I spent one afternoon going to see a movie, Top Gun 2, at the theater  (This was our first time back in the theater since Covid, in 2020).
On the morning that the kids came home from camp, me & the McCauley's took them to a huge lunch at Chili's!  So happy to have my babies back home!
Delilah's softball Spring season had finally come to an end.  We hosted the entire team for a Swim Party to celebrate these awesome, hardworking & dedicated young ladies.

While Rich & I were hosting the softball party Jett got to spend the day with his buddy, Kolby, & his family on their boat at the lake.
Of course we spend as much time as possible around & in the pool, having sleep overs with friends & riding around on the golfcart.  Jett even took a turn at the wheel & he did a rerally good job!!

We celebrated Father's Day around the pool with family.  Clarence, Milo, Brisa & Grandy came over & we had a blast playing all afternoon.
After being gone for 2 years, some of our favorite people finally moved BACK to Texas!! The Handke's came home & we took the very first opportunity we could to invite them over to give them hugs & catch up!
Jumbo Evans isn't the only ballfield the kids see.  Rich & Stephen Ruston took the kids to a Missions game, for First Responder's night.  They had a ball & ate alllll of the snacks!
Here are some extra photos from throughout the month that I wanted to include.
