NOVEMBER 2022
Halloween is over and Thanksgiving is right around the corner. So, in preperation, it's time to decorate the house.
After the Chess tourney, we loaded up in the car and made our way to San Antonio to celebrate one of our very favorite little girls, Brisa Bella. Milagros always puts her whole heart into her parties and everyone had a fabulous time!Rich & I spent a gorgeous afternoon visiting a couple of wineries with Jason & Tanya Ramos. Day datin' & wine sippin'!
One of the annual camping trips that we look forward to the most is the one to Jellystone, North Texas. The Strottner's met us up there for four nights of fun! It's a beautiful park with lots of fun things for the kids to do, a petting zoo, a lake for catch & release fishing, firetruck rides & fire pits. Brisa drove up there with us & then Milo, Brandon, Michala & their kiddos joined us the next morning. It was the perfect way to make lifelong family memories.
We arrived back home on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Just enough time to get the trailer unloaded, laundry done & our premade turkey picked up. Thanksgiving dinner was truly a lovely, nice & relaxing evening with family.
The morning after Thanksgiving it's a tradition that our elf, Mickey, comes home. And now we decorate for Christmas, my most favorite time of the year. My sweet friend, Suzanne, helped me make a new garland for the mantle. We also made HUGE, wooden, cut-out letters that spell JOY, for the front of our home.Oooohhh, Mickey the Elf... he had some fun this month. And finally, some extra pictures from the month:
