A NOVEMBER FULL OF MEMORIES

Out with the Halloween decorations & in with the Fall/Thanksgiving stuff!  Only second to Christmas, I love this Season most of all... cooler weather, warm colors, cozy decor & fires.

Just seems like yesterday they were starting their first day of Kindergarten.  And, now... here they are, 7th graders!
It's always exciting & fills my heart with pride when I get to watch either of my children play a sport, perform, dance, etc.  So, when Delilah & her dance team took the field to dance on the High School football field, it was surreal!

BOOTS & BLING!  That was the theme for the SBMS Fall dance.  I couldn't take my eyes off of my gorgeous kiddos!  They looked so grown up, so much so that it has me screaming for the clocks to slow down.
With all of the business, there's still Tennis & dance.  And I wouldn't miss not ONE opportunity to sit on the sidelines and cheer them on!
After one of the tournaments Jett was awarded the Sportsmanship Award!  Makes this Momma's heart so happy!

These photos came out a little late, but these cute Halloween pics were taken at the school.
The SBMS Silver Stars performed at the Veteran's Day Ceremony. They danced & Delilah felt proud to stand when they called for all of the children of Vets!

One of the sweet Momma's of a fellow dancer, Natalie Holland, owns a yoga studio, called the House Of Healing.  She opened up her studio & hosted the girls for an afternoon of yoga, stretching & relaxation.
I felt so blessed to be included in a special evening, hosted by Chasl Whelen.  It was a Friendsgiving dinner at an airplane hanger at Kestrel Air Park.  It was 2 hours full of delicious food, beautiful women & terrific conversation!
Mooooore dance... basketball games, pep rally's & dance showcase at the high school.
So very proud of my baby girl!  Once again, she was awarded with Wrangler Of The Week!
Mid-month Jett had the amazing opportunity to attend the Tennis Pro Expo in San Antonio.  Our sweet friend, Misty Bennett, was kind enough to include Jett in the outing.  Our boy loved every second & even had the pleasure of meeting tennis pro, JJ Wolf, among several others.
More tennis!!
As an elective, Delilah is now in Competitive Theater at school.  For their Fall performance, they put on the play James & The Giant Peach.  Every time I watch our girl, I'm just amazed!  The entire cast did a phenomenal job & we couldn't be more proud!  It was made even more special because several friends & family came out over the 2 days that the play was on, to support our sweet girl.
For the last 5 years or so, we have always spent the 4-5 days right before Thanksgiving camping in North Texas, at the Jellystone in Burleson.  It's truly one of our most favorite places to spend time as a family. The Strottner's joined us & we spent 5 days with campfires, animals at the petting zoo, fishing, relaxing & catching up.  Here's our traditional, obligatory Anderson-on-the-road photo:
We had a little hiccup on the drive to Burleson.  While driving down a narrow, windy road, some of the trees clipped our awning & off it came!  And, of course, it had to happen while it was raining!
We finally made it to the RV resort & made it our home away from home for 5 nights.
We started Thanksgiving Day with a warm & cozy fire, with the Parade on the tv.  For dinner, Clarence, Milo & Brisa joined us for a delicious turkey dinner with all of the fixings.
Mickey The Elf always returns on the morning after Thanksgiving, for his month of pranks & shenanigans.
It had been a couple of years, but we managed to make it out to Christmas In Comfort, on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  It was a little yucky & rainy but still such a fun time with family & friends!

In hopes to squeeze out every second of Christmas cheer, we put up all of the Christmas decor right after Thanksgiving.  I absolutely love how the home feels when it's decorated for Christmas.  It always makes me think back to my childhood & just how magical the holiday is.
The first hot cocoa of the Season...

The month of November Elf fun:
