APRIL 2021
With how much our sweet on-line teachers have done for us & our kiddos, we wanted to surprise them with some cute Easter buckets. We loaded up the buckets & kiddos & dropped them off at the school.
That following Sunday was Easter! We invited friends, neighbors & family over to celebrate the special day with us. But, FIRST... Jett & Delilah had to hunt for their own baskets.
Next came the fun with everyone else. We had multiple Easter egg hunts (including giant sized eggs to be hunted for by the adults... filled with mini liquor bottles); brisket for dinner; amazing cupcakes & tons of candy for dessert; & lots of laughs!
For the past couple of years, I've taken the opportunity to support the Twins school by sponsoring their annual Maverick Stampede. In doing so, my name & logo our proudly posted on banners & signs around the school.
The STAAR Test is an assesment that every student takes every year. This year thre parents were asked to write a little note to our kids, to get them pumped up about their tests. Jett & Delilah also earned awards for being straight A students & Accelerated Readers. We are so very proud of them!
Jett & Delilah have become VERY close with their cousin, Brisa. We all adore her & absolutely love it when she comes over for a slumber party. They swam, painted rocks, played on their tablets & ate tons of junk food.
Here are the annual Bluebonnet photos:
For the first time since the Twins have been born, Rich & I went on an ADULT ONLY vacation, that lasted more than 36 hrs. With the company of our dear friends, the Bivens, we booked an Air B&B in Broken Bow, Oklahoma for 4 glorious nights. While we missed Jett & Delilah, obviously, it really was nice to get away, relax, unwind & even laugh until we cried!
Make-Your-Own-Pizza night is always a favorite of Jett & Delilah's. It's even more fun when we invite neightbors to join us...
Along with ALL of these awesome times, we had our every day, run of the mill chaos... my work, Rich's work, attending a friends baseball game, play dates & laughs!
