LOVIN' LIFE IN 2025! JANUARY

JANUARY: A quiet beginning to the new year with some Bailey's & family time.
Delilah sets goals for herself & really goes after them.
With the Twins turning 15 this year, I figured it was about time to get them behind the wheel for some practice at driving.  Jett was the first one to give it a try, and he did REALLY well.
While Jett was trying his hand at driving, Delilah went with some friends to Six Flags.  She says that Roller Coasters are her favorite!
Each year, before putting away the tree, Jett & Delilah spend one night sleeping in the living room, soaking up all of those Christmas Tree lights.
A homemade card from Jett that he made for me, for Christmas (I just forgot to include it in last months blog).
Time for the Silver Star Dance Team to start handing out Daddy Daughter Dance flyers.  And, WHEW! It was cooooold!
For January the theme of the Stock-The-Breakroom was "Keys to Success".  Jett joined us after school to help.
In preperation for the upcoming competition season, the moms were tasked with "bedazzling" our daughter's costumes.  So, we decided to all meet up at the school & knock it out together.
Afterwards, we walked down the hall to watch the Dancers perform at a basketball game:
Another freezing morning of handing out Daddy Daughter Dance flyers:
Delilah had a Theater performance at the high school & Jett & I sat front & center.  I absolutely LOVE watching her on stage... she truly is a natural.

I feel like it snows more now, in Texas, than it ever used to.  As soon as it started falling, the kiddos had to go check it out.  Too bad they're past the age of wanting to actually play in it.

To warm everyone up, Delilah & I made pancakes!
The theme for this years Daddy Daughter Dance is Enchanted Garden.  The dance Team got together and made their own flower crowns to wear at the dance.
Delilah & the SBMS Production Theater Team had their last showing of their one act play, The Post Office.
Such an EXCITING weekend! Delilah had her first dance competition with her new studio, American Dance company.  It was the AMP Competition, downtown San Antonio, & she blew me away!

DAY 2 OF THE AMP COMPETITION:  Rich & Jett came downtown to catch her performance.
While Delilah is dancing, Jett is practicing tennis.

The Silver Stars dance Team attended the Coral ISD District Dance Showcase at SVHS.

We closed out the first month of the brand new year with snuggles & hot tea with my girl:
And now just some random photos that I didn't want to skip:
