SPRINGING INTO SPRING BREAK AT BLUE WATER

 MARCH 2021

Mandy found an old photo album that MeMaw had made for her.  In it were these beautiful photos of my Mom, Rosalie Anna Barker Stringer, as a young girl.

As I mentioned in my last post for January & February, I made the career switch to TR & Co.  Well, early in the month my new coffee mug, buisness cards & signs came in.  

Even though we had made the decision to complete the school year with Distance Learning, we still did our very best to continue participating in any of the events that we could.  This includes Drug-Prevention week.  One day was crazy hair day & another was Dr Seuss day.

For one of the evenings that Rich was on shift I decided to make Jett & Delilah a kids charcuterie board for dinner.  It had all of their favorites... veggies, fruits, crackers, nuts, yogurt, some meat & even a few cookies.  We nibbled on it in bed while we watched a movie.

Next up is St Patrick's Day.  That day was right in the middle of our Spring Break camping trip at Blue Water RV Resort, in Freeport, Texas.  So, I made some special treats (mini oreo cookies dusted with edible gold glitter); lucky charms cereal & a fun Scavenger Hunt.  Then, we loaded up our gear (& the pup, of course) & headed to the beach for 5 nights.  We fished, painted rocks, made tie-dyed tees, went for walks, met up with the Mansker's and had a fantastic week!  We even found several Crucifix fish while walking the beach.

Once home from the coast for Spring Break it was time to start thinking of Easter!  I decorated a little bit and Jett & Delilah attended a community Easter egg hunt at the neighborhood park.  They will NEVER be too old for hunting eggs!
