MARCH: This month started out pretty much the same... Dance team practice; Tennis team practice; NJHS meeting; 8th grad class photo; Ortho appts; & Stock The Breakroom... ya know, same ol'-same ol'.
Rich & I set up Spring Branch Exposures for a job at another local middle school, Bulverde Middle school:
A super intense but exciting thing took place this month... Delilah tried out for the SVHS Dance Team, The Silverado's. It was a lot of practices; extra clinics; self discipline with her own work outs & even some tears.
Sweet surprises from friends, to wish Delilah Good Luck for such a big event in her life:
TRY OUT DAY:
RESULTS ARE IN!! Our baby girl, #19, made the SVHS Dance Team! We couldn't be anymore proud of Delilah! She worked so very hard for this spot & we cannot wait to watch her on that field!
CONGRATULATIONS, BIRDY!!!
The very next day, Jett had a tennis tourney at Jumbo. It was little chilly but he did amazing & I just love watching him play a sport that he enjoys so much.
We decided against a big Spring Break trip this year, as we were a little concerned about how Delilah would take the news of the results of the high school try outs, had she not made it. So, we made some plans around the house, which included a shopping & ice cream day with sweet Lucy & her momma, Tara.
More time with the sweetest of friends:
The last weekend of Spring Break, Delilah had the Fly dance competition with ADC.
BAM!! Jett knocked it out of the park AGAIN, by being voted 8th grade Wrangler of the Week! Way to go, kiddo!! We are so very proud of the young man you are becoming,
While Delilah was dancing, Rich had Jett at another 2-day tennis tournament. Jett had recently pulled something in his knee (tripping on a loose ball on the court) but he pushed through! We are so proud of this kiddo!
Delilah joined the UIL Academic Team & competed with other classmates. She came in 2nd place, in a category that she was added to last minute. She never ceases to amaze us.
We closed out the month of March with another tennis tourney for Jett. He's met some amazing friends through tennis & we are always thrilled to watch him on that court.
Jett has really been improving his Tennis game. More matches with the middle school team & tons of practices.
A few extra photos that I loved from the month, and didn't want to leave out.
