MAY 2024
Jett & Delilah started the very first day off of May by being inducted into the SBMS National Junior Honor Society. In order to be a member, they must be straight A students, among other requirements.
Such an accomplishment calls for dinner at a place of their choosing. And why oh why is it always McDonald's?!
I'm not really sure why this photo is in here but it's one of my all time faves so I will share it every, single time!
Rounding out the school year, the Dance Team has their Spring Show. At this show they perform every one of the dances that they performed during their competitions plus the solo routines that they used for Officer Try-Outs. They all did such a phenomenal job!!

I had so much fun celebrating one of my favorite friends, Jen Starr Beebe, turning 50 yrs old! The theme for this event was "JenChella", a spin off of Coachella.
At the end of the year I offered to "Stock the Breakroom" at SBMS, for the teachers & staff. I did a Summer Fun theme & packed in as many snacks as I possibly could!Delilah's last performance with the 2023-24 Production Theater Team was Murder Mystery. Due to a conflict between Dance & Theater, Delilah was not given an actual part to play. Instead, she had fun helping out behind the scenes.
Student Council Field Trip to ZDT:
The SBMS Silver Stars End Of Year Banquet was quite the party! We had a selfie Photo Booth set up, cake, catered Mexican food dinner, awards, games & lots of laughs.
We spent Mother's Day with family, relaxing by the pool (although still too cold for the adults to swim).
Delilah was chosen to help out at the ASES field day. While there, she ran in to several of our friends:
Delilah finished up her season at Joni's Dance Studio with a recital where I got to watch what she had learned over the year. To celebrate, we stopped at Nectar for dinner.
One of Jett's electives for 7th grade was Theater. They did an End Of The Year performance for the families & Jett was phenomenal! So proud of this kiddo!
That concludes our hectic May & begins our Summer fun!!
Studying for final exams is always better with friends & pizza!
Delilah & 2 other dancers, Lilly & Rhys, helped out at the middle school 8th grade awards banquet:
One of Jett's electives for 7th grade was Theater. They did an End Of The Year performance for the families & Jett was phenomenal! So proud of this kiddo!
I was so proud to attend the 7th grader awards & see for my own eyes just what great kiddos we have!
After the awards I took the twins & a couple of friends to LaPaleta for some fun treats!
End of year gifts for our sweet teachers & school admin:
Finally!! Their last day of 7th grade! it's been an amazing year for my babies! Delilah was on the dance team. Jett was on the tennis team. They both kept an A average & earned a spot on the National Junior Honors Society. To celebrate, we went out for pizza & then home to pack for our beach trip!
One of our most favorite trips every year is our camping trip to Blue Water RV Resort, in Freeport. This year was even more special because a few other families, whom we adore, joined us for the week. We played at the beach, fished, crabbed, drove into Galveston, spent some time relaxing at Murdoch's & just relaxed & laughed. I am so thankful for these times.
