With summer flying by, August seems to come too quickly. Probably because we stay busy & then there's always the preparation of a new school year.
We started with some adult fun, dinner at the Kayoe's with some dear friends!
One of my favorite traditions at SBMS has always been the Powder Puff game right before school starts. Jett cheers while Delilah plays flag football. Rich helped out on coaching this year!

End of Summer sleep over with a friend:
Tennis started back for Jett & Delilah got some volunteer hours working at the snack bar with her friend.
Schedule pick up made for the perfect opportunity to take the twins & a few friends out for some lunch, ice cream & then back to our house to swim.

I managed to sneak away for the evening to see a movie with some girlfriends:
We'd never pass on the "Sundaes on Sunday" before school starts. Nice & easy dinner for me!
As part of the SBMS PTA Teacher Appreciation/Hospitality Chair, we decorated the Teacher Breakroom for the first day of school.
That alarm clock sure was early on that first day. Can't believe we have 8th graders in the house!! Middle school is going way too fast!
The kids head off to school & the Moms head off to the bar for the BOO HOO or YAHOO Breakfast.

A late August/first of September trip camp for Labor Day & my birthday. We stayed at a new place in Fredericksburg & really loved it. There was pickleball, live music, hanging by the pool, walking around Fredericksburg, a yummy dinner & some nice down time with friends & family. A great way to celebrate 56 trips around the sun!
