DASHING THROUGH DECEMBER

What's not to love about this month?  Cooler temperatures, holiday festivities, good food, school vacation & family!

OH!  And, Mickey the Elf.  We can't forget him or his shenanigan's throughout the month!

Of course, there's still dance & performing at basketball games:
ANDERSON FAMILY CHRISTMAS CARD 2024:

Delilah & I worked another Holiday job for the Photo Booth.  It was at an elementary school & Delilah did such a great job chatting with the kids & making them feel comfortable.
The Coburn family hosted a wonderful Silver Stars Christmas party for the Team.  I set up the Photo Booth, the girls exchanged gifts & played games, we ate & laughed until our faces hurt!
Delilah was invited to celebrate Henley's birthday with lunch & some shopping:
My Christmas themed Stock The Breakroom for the school:
Nicole Wagner's Cookie Exchange is an event that I look forward to each year.  It's always a good time with these ladies:
Christmas gifts for teachers & friends:
It was Rich & Jett's turn to work the Photo Booth.  Another Christmas party, at the McNay Art Museum. Just like Delilah, Jett did an AMAZING job!
While the boys were working us gals were "playing"... I took D to get her second holes pierced in her ears & then on to Playa Bowl for dinner.
Matching Christmas Jammie pants for me and my girl:
We had Brisa & Rhett join us for our annual Gingerbread house decorating contest.  All of the kids did amazing but Rhett's house won with the most votes on social media.  Such a fun evening with these goofy kiddos.

Jett & Delilah's houses:
Rhett & Brisa's houses:

The Twins & several of their classmates & friends volunteered at the local Assisted Living Home, in Bulverde, to decorate gingerbread houses with their residents.  Everyone had so much fun & I love seeing my kids get involved with helping in the community.
We met. up with the crew from Rich's Fire Station (#4's) for a Christmas dinner:
Delilah was recognized at the annual Character Awards assembly.  She was noted for being a Community Builder, "for being g a wonderful teammate & friend.  For making everyone feel included...".  Middle School isn't easy.  Lots of cliques, lots of drama... it makes me one proud Momma to know that our girl is standing above this!
Our trip to see the Johnson City Christmas Lights is an excursion that we love each year.  Sometimes we have the opening in our crazy lives to spend the day, eating lunch & shopping.  Others, like this year, we make it down there just as the lights turn on; snap a few pics & head back home for bedtime.  Nonetheless, it's one that we hate to miss.
We hosted the Ruston family for an evening of Christmas cookie decorating & home made chili.  I made the kiddos some yummy hot chocolate & the adults sipped liquor out of hollow chocolate Santas.
The Chick family has THE neatest tradition... Each year, around the Holiday's the make a few cards & place a $5 bill in each.  Then, they walk around Walmart & hid them for people to find.  Afterwards, Lauren took them for ice cream.
Station #4 Christmas Tree & Crew:
Christmas Eve spent with friends & family is always the best of times!  We set up the Photo Booth, neighbors joined us, we played lots of games & made some very special memories.

Rich was on shift Christmas Day.  He left for the station shortly after the Twins had a minute to check out their gifts under the tree & dive into their stockings.  So, Me, Jett, Delilah & the pets had a very relaxing, lazy day around the house, playing with their new stuff & watching Christmas movies.

Dad came home on the morning of the 26th, so that means Christmas, round 3, starts!

An evening at Max's:
After the Christmas festivities Delilah was invited to go ice skating with her friend, Ashley.
Our New Year's Eve was spent in a few different places... Jett spent most of the night with some great school friends, making s'mores, playing games & hanging out!

Meanwhile, Rich, Delilah & I set up the Photo Booth for a job & then met with some friends at the Harkins home.  Before the clock struck midnight, we ran to pick up Jett AND the Photo Booth & still made it back for the Ball to drop.

I feel so very blessed to have had such a wonderful & successful year surrounded by those that I love & that love me & my family.
CHEERS TO 2024 & PRAYERS FOR AN EVEN MORE FABULOUS 2025!

To finish out 2024, just a few last pics that I didn't;t wanna leave out:
